family cny dinner...

had reunion dinner at a chinese restaurant on the 6th floor of liang court, can't remember the name but i'm sure there was a dragon/phoenix/pearl/crystal/river/palace/jade/golden in it. was feeling bo liao so just took some food pictures.

it is a friday. this week i really tried to live out my current mantra, which is "make your weekends worth it". i did get some things done. but at the same time there's still so much to do. and i know i could've done more, hence i still feel unfulfilled but yet thankful for the weekend. it is starting to mean something to me now.

still, i find the cny hols to be somewhat a joke. main coz i initially planned to accomplish many things during that time. and then realizing that it is not possible.

got to persevere, before i know it, it'll be all over...

v day! how eventful

what a fulfilling valentine's day. i finished an assignment. which was basically a wood shaving compared to the giant oak tree of work i have. i also cleaned up the mess in my freezer compartment. and verified that the vending machine at can b offers 2 for 1 deals. so far i've only tried the soyabean + pepsi light combo. perhaps i'll be more adventurous and try another combo.

two messes in two days. i wonder what tomorrow holds. should be fine as long as it does not concern any leaking orifices.

smaller cupboard space. chaos theory. butterfly effect. took out a shirt. broke my 3/4 full davidoff coolwater. perfume reacted with floor lining. sticky floor. for the whole night and a day, my room smelled good. and for a day, the cleaner auntie had the nicest smelling broom and dustpan. mmm...davidoff

do you know how they get baby carrot juice? simple. they mix carrot juice and baby juice together.

this was taken at cafe vienna, united square. i've eaten there before with the acap folks but i've no idea how this eluded me that time. maybe there was only foetal juice then.

creamer with instant noodles

yes. creamer. as in coffeemate. powdered milk. in instant noodles. vegetable curry to be precise. it was not bad...but i thing i've tasted better noodles. at least it's low fat. then again compared to a lump of lard, anything is low fat.

back to curtains

back to using the damn curtains. the damn blinds were making too much noise in the wind. goodbye silver slats, hello swampy green room. they say geniuses pick green, but this is one of the stupidest ideas. just like how the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

i R sucka for marketing...but also i have never tried this flavour before. but remember kids, low fat doesn't mean no fat. eat your noodles with nutritional discretion.

2. IPPT and briefing just means IPPT. if it puts briefing, bring a change of clothes just in case of IPPT.
3. Not every old man is unfit.
4. Not every young man is fit.
5. if SAF100 says 0830-1230, you can go later. But going earlier means you clear everything earlier.
6. Usually 5) involves waking early, especially if you stay nowhere near bedok.

don - not just your personal pie club

met babe after school to walksie walksie chinatown. but before that i had to eat, didn't eat anything the whole day. we ended up at don.

had some crab beehoon.soup was not bad, but we thought that without the "herbal-ginseng-y" taste, it would be a not bad substitute for Uncle Leong's. quite shiok nonetheless. personal recommendation: not a must try, but eat-on-a-whim worthy. also, they don't provide slice cut chilli so if you need the spice, pay the price, of bringing your own.
