one of my favourite events is outsupper. buses are hired to bring us to various supper spots where we proceed to customarily stuff our faces with the usual hot favourites. this year, our first destination was bedok simpang. i had two pratas there, one egg and one onion, and shared some kambing soup with david. nothing to shout about, your usual indian muslim food. their drinks did seem particularly worth it though, quite a big cup for not a bad price. uninspired by such usual fare, i did not feel the urge to whip out my camera or phone.
as you can see, what layeth on the table. it's the beef horfun and frog's legs porridge from geylang. by the time we reached geylang, my appetite was somehow stifled. the brain must've registered the presence of the prata. damn, i wish i could've ridden the wave of hunger and barrage through all the delicacies.
my neighbour, yehyang, showing off his prowess at serving porridge. mmm...delicious...i meant the porridge.
this is a picture i took just to show that my camera phone has a pretty decent flash. the one with the chin is edwin. the other one is my eternal roomie alvin. guess who's the bitch and who's the butch?
anyway, outsupper was fairly bland. even the food didn't seem as tasty as before, although we all did enjoy it. had to share horfun with yehyang, couldn't even finish one myself. didn't even make a trip to the soya bean shop. i guess stomachs grow old too.
