the end of IH darts campaign

we came. we saw. we conquered. our own demons at least. seven's darts team have never really been write offs. but yet we falter year after year. this year, we overcame our ghosts and managed to enter the finals, something totally beyond expectations, considering we were there just to have fun mainly.

and to think a few weeks ago, alvin and dickson were pondering whether or not to play this IH. hard work over the years have finally paid off. what a way to end my career as an IH darts player, with an unexpected silver medal and a personal record of being unbeaten for 2 whole IHs. truly i'm blessed.

i am grateful that everyone played their hearts out. grateful that bob supplied great motivation and a jovial, easy-going spirit. grateful that angeline showed her passion. grateful that dickson showed his determination even though he was slumping before the competition. grateful that linhui showed that she was no easy meat. grateful that alvin showed such emotion and helped nurture us in one way or another when we first started out. grateful to the rec secs for acceding to our cold beer requests. grateful to sally low xinpei for guarding our belongings.
