sad and happy

my babe is out of town for the weekend till the public holiday is over. i hope she enjoys herself in bangkok. it's just a short trip, but i still do miss her, miss the familiarity of just holding her, all the little things. being sad, i felt the need to eat something good. gary brought a few of us to check out this crab place in ang mo kio which is supposedly famous, and i could see why later on. the picture below was taken at about 5.30pm. We didn't eat at this place though, we ate the opposite joint with a shorter queue. "look! singaporeans really will queue for food! just like it said in the encyclopedia!"

onward marcheth the crab consortium, which consisted of, not in order of merit, gary, xinhui, yunjia, yehyang and yours truly. and yes folks, that is actually a queue marker, a legendary tool used since the stone ages to deter queue jumpers. use preferably with lots of force, directed towards the head. crab beehoon. enough said. no need to say so much, we preferred to eat at that moment.

crab with butter and white pepper sauce. this was so good, we spent 8 dollars on fried mun tou mopping up the sauce. well, it was either expensive mun tou, or we ate alot of mun tou. it was abit of both. i'm definitely bringing my babe here.

we came, we ate, and ate, and ate, and conquered. well, yunjia let some crab legs get the better of her, but still, commendable effort from someone who doesn't eat prawn simply coz she's lazy to peel them.

look! it's lazy girl holding up the damage slip. 1483...maybe should've bought 4D.

After the makan, yehyang broke off from us and we followed yunjia down to tanjong pagar as she needed to grab something from the office. we then proceeded to circular road for a light chillout session. the following was at eski bar.

we then headed to archipelago brewery further down and sebastian joined us for abit.quite a nice night, didn't end too late. jared and david missed out this time but sure hope they will join us again some other day. for their own sake.

most of the photos look fine when they're small sized. the actual sized ones are a little blurry, think i need to get a phone tripod hurhur.
