new tech stuff around the house, rain, smelly feet

obtained a d link dgl-4300 over the weekend. seems to be working pretty fine. my bro can cs with minimal latency while i bt and surf the net. seems like their award winning qos is actually some good. love the look of it too, nice and sleek design, black casing with blue leds, looks so cool it hurts.

it came bundled with this!

it's a logitech g1 gaming mouse which uses the award-winning mx510 engine. i can now use my cool black icemat again, oh how i've missed it. for the benefit of female readers, the icemat is a piece of frosted glass i use as a mousepad as you can see from the picture above. retiring my razer diamondback as i think it is just nice to look at and most importantly, it can't track on my icemat.

it's no g5 but damn it's nice to be back using logitech after awhile. the picture below is what i caught on the way back to hall from class (yes, i'm a changed man). taken from s2 roof. and i was just thinking that it was a nice day to swim while in lecture. even as i type this, it tempts me by not raining, it's almost as if it's waiting for me to walk to src and change into my speedos before releasing the torrents.

speaking of rain, water and lecture, i was rudely awakened from my zombie state by the smell of wet feet soaked into the carpet of the lecture theater. the stench assaulted my senses so brutally that in an instant i was awake and the first thought to hit me was 'oh fark, i got double lecture here...cb...'

after awhile, i began to believe that the nose could get used to a smell and recalibrate itself because after 15 minutes, the evil odour seemed to have leveled off. nose was calibrated, settings changed from toe jam to normal. the error was corrected.

after the first lecture, i was already kinda sleepy. went for a bathroom break. went back to the same lecture theater. loss of calibration.
the stench assaulted my senses so brut.....blah blah you get the picture. i wonder if they have student subsidies on oxygen masks and tanks.

it's EEE week by the way and they have a mini bazaar on as usual. something caught my eye totally by accident. all i shall say is that girls, if you want to sell accessories or whatever thingies that require you to provide mirrors, as your customers might want to try stuff on and preen, please do not wear a short denim skirt which lifts when you bend forward while having a chair behind you with a mirror on it. reflective surface up. get the picture?

enough for an afternoon...nap time~
